About Me
About Me
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Children and Families, a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science, and an Associate of Science in Addiction Studies. I am also a Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-II) with over 10 years of experience in substance abuse counseling and have provided specialized anger management counseling services. My journey into social work began in 2012 after a personal tragedy—losing my sister to suicide just days before her 30th birthday. Growing up in poverty-stricken environments and experiencing the effects of untreated mental illness firsthand deeply shaped my commitment to becoming a voice for those who often feel voiceless.I was motivated to dedicate my career to helping individuals and families overcome the challenges of mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety, as well as the barriers that poverty creates. My mission is to serve as a change agent, empowering people to heal, grow, and find meaningful paths forward in their lives.
